The incident occurred during Moldova’s National Day celebrations, which were attended by Moldovan President Maia Sandu, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and Romanian President Nicusor Dan.
President Sandu condemned the drone incursions as acts of intimidation against Moldova, emphasizing the growing impact of Russia’s war in Ukraine on neighboring countries.
